The Aurora Tasting
Our whole kitchen on one arc, for the whole table:
Open tonight · kitchen until 22:30, glasses until late
Norrsken is a neighborhood Nordic kitchen inside an old florist's glasshouse. Seasonal small plates, open-fire cooking and natural wine — served slowly, beneath a ceiling of shifting light.
Walk-ins welcome at the counter · groups of 7+ please email us
Tonight at Norrsken
Thirty-eight seats, one fire, a menu that changes with the market van. Here's what's happening under the glass this evening.
Our whole kitchen on one arc, for the whole table:
Short rib — hour six of eight
Leeks — charring in embers
Rye loaves — second bake, 19:00
Counter seats — 3 left tonight
Twenty-six in the glasshouse, twelve stools facing the fire. Snug, warm, never rushed.
Small growers across the Baltic, the Jura and the Mosel — ask for the chalkboard.
The menu is written at noon, after the market van and the smokehouse call in. If a dish sells out, it's gone — ask what the fire is holding instead. — Chef Maja Lindqvist
The Room
Built in 1927 for winter flowers, rebuilt in 2023 for winter dinners. Iron ribs, old glass, one open fire — and the light doing its slow work overhead.
Hours & Visit
Kitchen closes 60–90 minutes before the room; the counter pours until the last chair empties.
Tables release 21 days ahead at noon. Counter seats are kept for walk-ins every night — arrive early, order the rye, and let the room do the rest.
