Experience

Three internships,
zero unshipped features.

  1. Jun — Aug 2025

    Frontend Engineering Intern

    Lumen Grid · fintech, Austin

Rebuilt the transaction-detail view used by every customer, cutting interaction latency by moving heavy formatting off the main thread. Landed 31 PRs; two shipped to production in my first month.

  2. Sep 2024 — May 2025

    Teaching Assistant, Interactive Web Systems

    Northgate University CS Dept.

Ran weekly labs for 60 students on semantic HTML, CSS layout, and progressive enhancement. Wrote the course's autograder for accessibility checks — now used across three sections.

  3. May — Aug 2024

    Product Design Intern

Parallel Studio · brand & digital

Prototyped client concepts in code instead of static mocks. My motion prototypes for a beverage launch became the studio's default pitch format for interactive work.

  4. 2023 — present

    Open-source contributor

    Design-tooling ecosystem

Maintainer of two small CSS utilities; regular contributor to docs and reduced-motion fixes across component libraries I actually use.

B.S. Computer Science, Minor in Visual Design

Northgate University · 2022 — 2026

Coursework I actually use: Interactive Web Systems, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Graphics, Databases, and a design-studio minor that taught me to defend decisions with words, not vibes.
